2 Quilts finished- just in time to leave

I am preparing to pack and leave- I have a 1st Birthday party to attend...
So I am busy trying to pack and get things in order for my being gone for nearly 3 weeks...
Oh I am going to have FUN with that baby!!!

But in getting ready- I finished the comfort quilt for Zach's parents. It is a shooting star pattern.

They loved it. I hope it brings them much comfort in the lonely days ahead.

My friend in OK, Gina, lost her Mom unexpectedly from cancer. With about a week to go before I left for my trip, I didn't have time to make her a quilt from scratch SO I made her an Orphan block quilt. Some are donated blocks from friends who give me scraps towards these comfort quilts. This one turned out very pretty.

I will present her with it on friday when I get my hair done.
