A wake up and I leave

The official count is 8 and a wake up before the baby is due!!!

It's just a wake up for me- before I fly outta here- heading back to Tulsa for the birth of this much anticipated baby... He will bring SO MUCH JOY to his parents.... I just can't wait to be a part of this, when this beautiful baby enters our lives and fulfills dreams lost...

It's been a BUSY day... But I finished the quilt... I had some trouble with my machine and had to unstitch a large section, but I was not going to get frustrated or upset. This quilt was made with love in a positive frame of mind and has nothing but good thoughts attached to it!!

Here is a pic of the whole quilt, it is 48 inches sq. I used lots of different fabrics with all kinds of animals or items- like flying pigs, space aliens, trains, pirates, Angels, Firemen like his Grandpa's, a Great Dane like Bruin- lots of cool things.

Here is a close up of some of the fabrics- the next few pics.

I'll write the "I Spy" riddle for this quilt- it has so many different things to find, I wanted it to be a fun quilt. After I get back and have the braincells to think- I will write it... I am so fried right now. I just wanted to get it finished. DONE!!!

Laundry is done- suitcases are upstairs... I have my clothes folded & stacked, ready for the big roller suitcase. I have left my clothes behind before- not this trip since they are going in the big suitcase. The small roller one is packed full of fabric! I have to work on the black w/ bright friendship stars while I am gone. Figured I could get some Love Covers done also if I have time so I'm taking some fabric for them.

I printed my boarding pass for Southwest and my itinerary. My batteries are charging... so is my phone... Picked up my refills for my Rx... Need to stop and buy a Hess truck to take with me to give to Logan... I hope I can squeeze it into my suitcase!!! There's more but I am just TOO BEAT!

I am going to bed!!!
Later Darlin'

I mailed the transplant quilts out on Monday evening- I know the secret Post Office that is open 24/7- out at the Philly airport- Cargo City. The 2 that went to Tampa should arrive- BETTER arrive on Wed- I paid enough for them to be guaranteed for Wed... Surgery is on Thurs- so I wanted them there BEFORE... the other went to Hawaii and should be 5-7 days.

goodnight! :)

The quilt is BEAUTIFUL, I know he'll love it! so many cute and colorful fabrics in that. I'd love to read the I Spy Poem.

Have a safe and great trip! Send pictures of the new baby when you can.
