These were all baby quilts- I'm lucky! They were for her friends that were having babies as we speak.... They were really cute quilts and I felt very honored to quilt them.
The 1st one had a boo-boo in it.... do you see it? It's funny how we can look at something and know "somethings not right" and yet not see it.

This is a pretty ballerina quilt.

This one looks like the 1st one- but it doesn't have the inner white border.

I did all of these with a random curly stitch using a bright "over the rainbow" variegated thread.

Now, this is the quilt top I made for my neighbor Ms. Egan's 80th birthday Sept 14th. At her party she was able to get all those in attendance to sign a block. I now have it back and will quilt it this weekend. Each of the blocks was made using a floral fabric- she has beautiful gardens in her yard. And she loved the border fabric- I knew she would! ;)
She was so tickled that I made this for her...

This is the comfort quilt for Sandy- the late Fire Chief's wife. Neen was so kind to donate this spare quilt top, so I could have a quilt for Sandy. I was kinda busy at the time and this quilt top is really beautiful. This is a closeup pic of the quilting stitch- it's called Angel wings. Looks kinda like butterflies. We will take this quilt to her this weekend.

And on top of all of this sewing- we are in the final prep stage for the siding to go up on the house.
We just have to paint the concrete around the base of the house. So I will be outside helping Neo-Man once the rain stops.... My house looks so ugly right now--- but once they are done it's gonna be SO PRETTY!!!! I have my new doors in- I love them. This is my new front door- it is so strange to have light coming in from the door window and it's beveled so I get a pretty prism effect on the wall.

Oh ok... that's it for me- gotta get busy!
Have a great weekend!
Later Darlin'

I can't thank you enough for fixing that top.
Mrs. Egan's is so beautiful, just like all your work!
You're going to need to put a sign out, so we won't drive past your sparkling new place.
