It was kinda rainy and cloudy here to start the day... then the sun came out for a while to warm things up and make it really humid.
Which was fine since we spent the day at friends house with a pool... so it was the perfect weather for that.
Alot of great food and drink- although I wasn't drinking alcohol.... I've had a headache for a few days... working in the heat. So I left the drinks for everyone else.
See all those kids? Know what kids do in a pool? THEY SCREAM!
Needless to say- we came home around 6pm. Which was fine- we had great food and desert and Neo-Man had a few drinks. Visited with friends and enjoyed the company. Good day!
Came home in time to watch the fireworks on TV. I thought ours in town would be canceled since it was raining again- but nope- they went forward with them.
So we had a great day celebrating our independence!
Thanking our troops for protecting that freedom.
