Sometimes it's hard to believe- that he was born 2 years ago today! Some days it seems like only yesterday, and others it seems like a lifetime ago. But then I guess it was a "lifetime" ago!
For those that don't know, Seth Logan was my 1st grand baby.He was born nearly 7 weeks early and weighed in at 4.5 pounds and 19 inches.
He was a strong baby and a fighter all the way.
He had the unique blessing of having 6 digits on each hand.
So today we Thank God for the gift he gave us named Seth.
Today Brandy, Logan & Kaleb along with other family members,
will have a cake to celebrate the birth of this beautiful baby.
Because his birth was a joyous event!
His life had meaning and a purpose! He did more with his short 18 days than many folks do with years. HIS life made a difference in the world!
Because of his birth- I became a Granny!
Because of his birth- MANY babies were saved!
Because of his birth- MANY lives were saved!
Because of his birth- MANY changes for the better were made at the hospital he was born and died in.
Because of his birth- I never take life for granted!
So today we say "Thank You Lord for giving us this sweet beautiful baby to love!" If only for a short time.
He is my Angel- he gave me my wings!

the fact that this post has no comments is only because we can't think of the right words to say. My heart ached for you and your family as I read it. Celebrate, love & cherish all your grandbabies -
As the mother of a premie -- who is now 18 months -- I'm empathetic to your feelings of joy and loss. This is a wonderful tribute. The pictures of Seth remind me so much of our first month in NICU... wires, and tubes, and those blessed blue and pink hospital issue blankies.
