One down- one to go

Whew- I have finished piecing the 1st quilt for the transplant... the Funky Chicken quilt.
here it is hanging on the wall- (i post pic sideways so I don't have to shrink and can get closer)
this quilt top or UFO-( unfinished object) is 72 x 84.. I will quilt it as soon as I get the backing fabric. Someone special is donating the chicken backing! :)

The black square in the middle is the "transplant block" that will go on his sisters quilt. I will stitch a heart on the black sq coz he has ALOT of heart to do this for his sister.

Now to get busy on her scrappy quilt... lots to do!
Y'all have a great day!
